Plan for the 4B Girls Basketball Tournament November 8-11,
2000
Print this out and have a plan for yourself
The SGHS Varsity Girls Basketball team play Boulder in their first district tournament game tonight at 6:30pm at the Bozeman Gym. This tournament is the culmination of 4 years of hard work and practice for the 6 seniors on the team. They are: Liz Oberly, Andy Berry, Brandi Mack, Larissa Flanagan, Missy Roe, and Jenny Gibson. One Junior, Alexis Callahan, and tow sophomores, Rissy Obert and Meggan Chappell will gain valuable experience in this tournament playing with the senior girls.
The lady herders, 9 and 1 in their conference, come into the tournament ranked 2nd which gives them a good seat to start out. They play Boulder tonight who are 1 and 9 in conference play. Even though Boulder has a terrible record, the lady herders are expected to play this game as if it is their last. Their goal is the tournament championship to be played on Saturday night at 8:00 pm. It is likely that if they do get to the district championship they will play the top seed Three Forks whose record is 10-0 in conference play and 16-2 overall. The lady herders record is 11-7 overall. The lady herders have not played Three Forks yet this year.
A Thursday night win means that the Lady herders will play at 8:00pm Friday evening. Follow the tournament plan above for the times the lady herders play! Go Lady Herders!
