Grass County. The Yellowstone River
is one of the best trout fishing rivers in Montana and you will
find premium fishing also in the Boulder
River. There are good populations of Rainbow and Brown trout
in these rivers and in the Yellowstone River you might catch
beautiful and protected native cutthroat trout. If
alpine lake fishing is what you are after, you can hike in to
the Absoraka/Beartooth Wilderness area just south of Big Timber
