Q: I have tried to use Microsoft’s NetMeeting (An Internet Phone package which is available for free from
http://www.microsoft.com/netmeeting:kgr) and I find that the directories come up very slow. Sometimes the directories are full and I can’t find my parents online. - JeffA: Get yourselves a copy of ICQ from
http://www.mirabilis.com/ . You can use it to see if your parents are online and then launch their application or finding out what their IP address is and dialing it directly with the phone icon. If net conditions get too bad, ICQ has type chat facilities. You can also leave each other messages. I would not do without it. My id is 1233862.Tired of waiting for a web page to load. While you are waiting you can open another browser window and surf in more than one website at a time! Go to File, New, Window. You can open as many windows as you would like at one time.
