Links

      Links- the connections between related information.

Links are the connections to the trails of interconnected information as one does in an encyclopedia.  Browsing is accomplished by following links.  Now we are going to see several examples of links- text links, graphics links, and picture links.  

Text Link- A text link will be a different color than the rest of the text and will be underlined. A text link will look like this

 Links are all the same color within an individual website- each website specifies their own link color.

To the left is a graphic link. To identify a graphic link, you have to move you mouse over it and see if the hand changes. You can also just try to click on it.  Notice how your mouse pointer changes to a hand when you move it over the bug!
