"Sentimental Journey" a Blast From the Past! |
The Westbound Stage presented "Sentimental Journey", a variety show which included many skits that brought spectators through time at Sweet Grass County High School. The skits made fun of our "Wegian" heritage along with fun personal rememberences of highlights of school life.

Hosts "Maude and Ole'" played by Flossi Drivdahl Woehler
and John Esp (above)were great by entertaining and introducing new skits .

The
dress went from the 40's and every decade up to the present, and a medly of
songs depicted the times were sung, including a WWII girl trio (Morgan Kinross-Wright,
Kay Marie Jonson Downs, Mimi McDonell Cremer) who entertained the troops by
singing "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy"!
There were refreshments for the intermission when the Jazz Band
played.

The Timber Tappers (above from left to right, Don Marvene, Julie Intravatolo,
Judy Faw, and
Chris Schuman, entertained us with a dance number.

Helen Sargent Pedula (above) did an excellent skit where she was a BS Valley Bridge Player who gossiped on
and on telling funny stories of the past!

The Sentimental Quartet (above) of (right to left) Cassie Sargent, Naomi Esp, Ken Rockeman, and Joan Hansen delighted the crowd
with their medley of tunes from various decades.

Elisa Stene, Cole
Glasgow, Jordan Graves, Cassie Sargent, Renae Stene, Misty Titeca, and Jennifer
Bowden did a skit (pictured above) called "Laugh In" wearing 60's apparel, hair doos,
and dancing the times, after the old TV Show and told school jokes.
Kathy
and Dave Agnew (above) danced the twist and other numbers.
Then Flossi Drivdahl
Woehler, JoLynn VanDaveer Whidden, Kathi Bothman Cowdry, Jennifer Bowend, Cary
Kinross-Wright, and Abigail Hansen did an Egyptian number that they had done
back in the late 80's.
