Sweet Grass County Residents Get
Together to Work

As a tradition, residents of Sweet Grass County get together to work cattle in the spring. On working ranches, neighbors find time to help each other. Each spring the calves need to be given vaccinations and branded before they go out to range on pastures, and this gives the ranchers a chance to come together and work and celebrate their heritage, keep skills sharp, and socialize with each other.
