Two grants are being written; 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant headed by Grayce Sivgny and Community Incentive Program Grant (CIP) headed by Tracy Stephens. Doug McCann is involved as a representative of these grants outside the schools, as the grants are for the community as a whole. Awards are being distributed to both urban areas and rural and last year Livingston received $500,000 to implement this program in their community. The least amount that our community can apply for is $75,000. The deadline for the grant is a month, so many volunteers are needed.
