It was noted that grant money cannot be used to build or re-model a building. Does that include leasing or renting a building??? Do you have any questions, input, or resources that you can offer to this project? It was also discussed that since we have only 4 weeks to do a project that many communities take 8 months to plan, that maybe we should bag this go around. As a response, we feel that even if we do not get a grant this time, that our time will be spent wisely to organize and use this as a "dry run" for the next go around next year.
Next Meeting on Tuesday, 14th. Other scheduled meetings are on the 21st, 24th (no school), and 28th. The grant is due in Helena on March 31st by 2:00pm.
Would you like to participate in this grant writing process? Call any of the contacts listed to volunteer your help.
